Marie began her career in 1995 when she first learned who Reba was while auditioning as BB McNemire in a local dinner theater production. She then began to perfect the look and vocals to emulate the style of Reba McEntire.
Marie quickly gained exposure to the national market through her uncanny resemblance to Reba when in 2000 she was selected as the grand prize celebrity contest winner for Country Weekly Magazine. The magazine brought Marie to Nashvile where she was interviewed and photographed for a feature article as well as autographing at their Fan Fare booth. Additionally, she made her TV debut on the TNN Award Show appearing with Jeff Foxworthy.
Following this TV appearance, Marie subsequently was selected to appear as a celebrity look-a-like contestant for The Weakest Link and Hollywood Squares. Her career has included performances at various festivals and casinos coast to coast in addition to performing private corporate events at the famous Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville, Tennessee. Marie has appeared along with an entire cast of impersonators in a film featuring Mickey Rooney called "Bamboo Shark" to hopefully be released at a later date. Her other work has included a two month tour at venues on the west coast performing at various gated communities throughout California, Arizona and Nevada.
During the recent pandemic, the challenges have allowed Marie to continue her performances through various online video platforms and hopes to return to the live stage in the months to come.
